John A. Damianos, MD is a clinical fellow in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Prior to his fellowship, he graduated from the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine as a Medical Education Scholar. He then completed Internal Medicine residency at Yale where he was awarded a Clinician Educator Distinction. Dr. Damianos serves on the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Alliance for Education on Probiotics. His research interests include small intestinal microbial dysbiosis, microbiome therapeutics, gastrointestinal motility disorders and disorders of gut-brain interaction, autoinflammatory disoders, and celiac disease.
